The Eye of the Cyclops
With this body of work, Ann Massal questions our perception of BEAUTY. Using a vast array of techniques – dripping, bleaching, cutting, rotting, found imagery – She distorts images to offer us her outlook on beauty: ambiguous, sinful and always colorful. The series has been published as book in 2019 by Keher Verlag and won the silver medal of conceptual photographic books in Germany.
